BACK COVER BLURB:

Lieutenant Kevin McQuade isn’t looking for love when he visits a house of pleasure while on a break from his space travels. He just wants a chance to indulge his submissive sexual fantasies. But in Gilya he finds not just an exquisite dominatrix, but a woman he admires and connects with on many levels. Their lust is immediate, her connection with him intuitive.

When Kevin admits a dark secret that drives most people away from him, Gilya copes with it, because she has a secret too – one that might just push him away.

COVER SNARK:

Typical, but it’s not cheesy or ugly.

FIRST LINES:

Gilya fell in love at first sight when the man walked through her door. Of course, that was nothing new.

LYNETTE'S TWO CENTS:

I picked up DOMINANCE PROGRAM because I liked that the male was a submissive for a change. DOMINANCE PROGRAM is a light, quick read for when your in the mood for a quick, steamy romance.

Kevin is an officer aboard a space ship who feels immense guilt for not being able to prevent the death of fellow soldiers. To assuge his guilt he visits a pleasure palace and meets Gilya, a dominatrix, who helps him work through the guilt and anger he’s felt. She seems to see through to his soul and he can’t get enough of him. Gilya has strong feelings towards Kevin and well but wonders if she can provide what he needs outside of her work environment. Kevin takes her up on the challenge. As they both work toward their issues they discover that there is more to each other than they each expected and if they could possibly form a permanent attachment with each other.

DOMINANCE PROGRAM had an excellent premise and I love Sci-Fi Romance and as I stated before I love it when the male is a submissive for a change. I was prepared to love DOMINANCE PROGRAM and while I didn’t love it, I liked it. I liked the hero, I liked how he wasn’t the typical submissive and he had a backbone and balls. I totally understood the guilt that was driving him. However, DOMINANCE PROGRAM could’ve been so much more. I wished for a little more character depth and for more of the sci-fi elements introduced explored. However, if you want a quick satisfying read and you like Sci-Fi and BDSM, I recommend you give DOMINANCE PROGRAM a try.
